Our client is a major player in the energy transition and one of France’s leading developers of renewable energy. Operating over 500 sites across the country, our client focuses on ground-mounted, rooftop and shade-mounted solar power plants
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to assess technical challenges, risks, and opportunities; document findings.
- Collaborate with project development managers to address environmental, urban planning, and other factors influencing ground-mounted solar plant design.
- Develop and maintain consistent preliminary designs.
- Provide technical guidance for project documentation.
- Process and analyse resource and production data.
- Lead technical and economic project studies, identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Estimate uncertainties in production forecasts and address external technical assessments and financing concerns.
- Enhance expertise in electrical and soil studies aligned with evolving methodologies.
- Prepare technical deliverables for various project stages in coordination with construction and development teams.
- Perform performance ratio tests to validate plant operations.
- Update and improve design standards and processes.
Key Competencies:
- Strong understanding of solar project design processes.
- Proficiency with design software like PVcase, PVdesign, and PVsyst.
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
- Effective planning, prioritization, and adherence to organizational procedures.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and unforeseen challenges.
- Clear and structured writing skills for operational documentation.
- Fluent in technical English, both written and spoken.
