Key Responsibilities:
- Design and set up electrical systems.
- Check the quality and ensure everything meets standards.
- Keep project documents and reports up to date.
- Explain technical details to clients and suppliers.
- Prepare cost estimates and request proposals.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers for technical details.
- Monitor suppliers and stakeholders to ensure everything is on track.
- Plan and track project progress, making adjustments as needed.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Provide product advice and support to field staff.
- Enter and maintain data for cable routing.
- Request materials and ensure the purchasing process is smooth.
- Create test specifications and delivery protocols.
- Report on project deadlines, costs, and tasks.
Qualifications:
- Skilled in electrical design software like EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as an electrical project engineer in a related field
- Knowledge of ship construction is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with electrical drawings and configuration management.
- Ability to understand electrical circuits.
