About our client:
They are an international EPC company specializing in the design, delivery, and commissioning of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) that support the global transition to clean energy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the electrical design and layout of battery energy storage systems (up to 132kV), including cable routing, single-line diagrams, and protection schemes.
- Support preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs using AutoCAD, ETAP, and other relevant software.
- Conduct cable sizing, load flow, and fault current calculations under supervision.
- Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to ensure electrical components meet project requirements.
- Assist in reviewing supplier and subcontractor technical documentation.
- Participate in site visits, commissioning, and inspections to ensure quality and compliance with design.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical codes, standards (e.g. IEC, BS7671), and industry best practices.
- Contribute to risk assessments, method statements, and HSE documentation for electrical works.
Qualifications & Skills:
- BEng or MEng in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience (internships, placements, or junior roles in power/energy sector preferred).
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, especially in renewable energy or power distribution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with design tools like ETAP, DIgSILENT, or Amtech is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within a multidisciplinary team.
- Eligibility to work in Germany.
