BOSS Energy Consulting LTD – Process Engineer
BOSS Energy have been retained by a leading Clean Technology company who have an opening for a Process Engineer. The position consists of supporting the CTO in leading in engineering technological development to increase TRL level of the DAC technology from an actual TRL of 4 up to a TRL of 5/6 the first year (and then TRL 8 in the following years).
Responsibilities:
- Perform FEED study for pilot (production of PFD, P&ID, pilot sketch, equipment nomenclature…)
- Define equipment specifications, send inquiry to suppliers and manage the equipment supply (including contract management) with respect to budget, timeline and performances.
- Manage external engineering contractors for the pilot assembly
- Lead the development of the model for their complete process in collaboration with the R&D team (including transfer to AspenPlus)
- Contribute to the process scale-up strategy (taking inputs from the R&D team and providing directions for R&D developments) and secure technico-economic assessment at industrial scale
What we need from you:
- 5 years’ experience in chemical process engineering and/or engineering project management
- Expertise in gas-liquid transfer, electrochemistry or competence in CO2 capture would be a plus
- Obsessed by execution and details, team working spirit, autonomy.
- Flexibility on type of duties to be performed and capacity to work on different topics at the same time – Polyvalent/Multitask.
- English proficiency (french not essential)
