BOSS Energy Consulting LTD – VP of Engineering
BOSS Energy have been retained by a leading Clean Technology company who have an opening for a VP of Engineering. This role will oversee their Product Development, R&D and Process Engineering functions.
Responsibilities:

Oversee and advocate for the entire product engineering lifecycle, including specifications, design, development, testing, and maintenance of their Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology and associated balance-of-plant systems.

Lead and expand a top-tier Engineering team by promoting excellence, fostering performance and development, and establishing high standards for quality, testing, and documentation.

Implement appropriate engineering processes, rigor, and cross-functional reviews within the organization. Demonstrated success in applying Design for Six Sigma, Design for Manufacturing, and Design for Reliability principles.

Develop R&D technology roadmaps that align with corporate strategy.

Prioritize and ensure the timely delivery of all projects, meeting internal and customer requirements for cost, performance, quality, and reliability.

Provide technical guidance and make hands-on technical and design decisions as needed.

Maintain and share a product/solution roadmap and development schedule with process partners.

Review technical accuracy of work and projects, drive defined engineering processes, and identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Facilitate clear communication between clients/customers and engineers, ensuring that specifications, budgets, and deadlines are clearly conveyed and understood.
About you
-
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar field, with 15+ years of experience in a related manufacturing industry.

Over 8 years of proven experience in Engineering Management and team leadership within a relevant industry.

Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.

Demonstrated success in recruiting top-tier talent and effectively managing, mentoring, and motivating high-performing teams.

Skilled at organizing, motivating, and leading diverse, multidisciplinary engineering teams in a fast-growing and agile corporate environment.

Proficient in prioritizing and managing numerous diverse projects, consistently communicating results, and ensuring alignment with the Leadership team.
